There are very worthwhile structural engineering chapters on ship impact, safety considerations, erosion protection, steel corrosion, underwater concreting, concrete deterioration, and concrete maintenance and repair; and these again accentuate the need to consider constructability / durability / maintainability issues within the design phase.
